Skylar

My baby sister, Skylar, turned teen recently.  She is SOOOO pretty, gosh!  The boys are going to be falling all over themselves. 

And she says she hates her dark hair while Sierra and I got blond.  Trust me, sometimes I think I'd rather have HER hair color!  More striking and unique.

She's also very talented, taking dance and ballet classes, and also piano and guitar lessons. 

 

And on top of all that, she blew the cover off the SUAT test recently, taking the exam the day after her teen birthday and already qualifying for a scholarship.  Even Mom admits she was surprised by how well she did.   She did as well as the average high school senior did, and she's only in the eighth grade.

She's been performing after school for the members of the fire department. 

I do worry, though, that she is stretching herself thin.   Poor girl was out doing her rounds when she was brought home for a curfew violation.  Mom just told her, "Don't let it happen again."
