Well it's back to school we go...back for another semester of fun and games.
After a summer basically spent relaxing, it's time to hit the grind again.
And is that REALLY my brother and sister ... particularly my school-averse brother, the one who swore that he'd die before he set foot in another classroom, moving into this dorm across campus?
Guess the lure of Desert Asteroids was too much for him. :p
And when we were moving into our new dorms, Kay shot AJ a look that, if it could kill, he'd already be dead. I could already tell we were in for more drama this semester.
AJ and I went to the meet and greet at the Student Union, and Connie Cronk from my art class was doing a presentation on the program. She's a returning student and she's even married. "Sage, is it?"
"Yeah."
"Have you thought about entering the student art show?"
"Student art show?"
"We put it on every year. And a famous artist judges every year, too."
"I'll think about it."
"We'd really like to see an entry from you. I've seen your sketches -- you're pretty talented."
"Connie, you're a way better artist than I am."
"Sage, stop being so modest!" Connie took a deep breath. "Just think about it," she said as she walked away.
A couple of my dorm mates, Erica and Demarcus, I think they've already hooked up. Erica is from Aurora Skies and has a distinct Scandinavian accent.
And then there's Mellaney... Oh there's Mellaney. She's a robotics major. Her whole bedroom is decorated with simbots. I think she's obsessed with them.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, her hand on her hips.
"Oh, uh, I was just trying to say hi --"
"Your name's Sage, right?"
"Yeah, um, I'm in the room next door."
"What's your major?"
"Not sure yet. Right now I'm studying art."
I kept looking around Mellaney's room. A part of me is very intrigued by her and wants to be friends with her -- however she doesn't have the friendliest manner.
She said she was an only child and one of five sims to get a perfect score on the SUAT test. A perfect score!
I left Mellaney's room bewildered.
Meanwhile, AJ was downstairs -- was he actually studying?
